Drip & Drop (“Shop”) hereby states the following privacy policy in order to comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other guidelines regarding the handling of our customers' Personal Information.

1. Definition

Personal Information means personal information as defined in the Personal Information Protection Law. Specifically, it means any information about living individuals that can be used to identify specific individuals by name, date of birth, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as information that can be used to identify specific individuals by cross-checking with other information.

2. Purpose of Use

The purposes for which the Shop uses Personal Information collected from users of the Shop (“User(s)”) are as follows;

1) to process and deliver orders from Users;

2) to respond to inquiries from Users;

3) to provide information about our products and services;

4) to send notices and news including our e-mail magazines;

5) to notify Users of any changes to the terms and conditions of our services;

6) to help improve our services and develop new services; and

7) for other purposes related to any of the above purposes.

3. Change of the Purpose of Use

The Shop may change the purpose of use of Personal Information only if the purpose after the change is related to the one before the change.

In the event that the purpose of use of Personal Information is changed, the Shop will notify users of or announce on the website of the Shop the purpose of use and the details of the change.

4. Prohibition of Providing Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not disclose the User’s Personal Information to any third party, except if;

1) the subjective User consent to such disclosure;

2) the disclosure is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the subjective User prior to the disclosure;

3) the disclosure is significantly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the subjective User prior to the disclosure;

4) there is a request from a national agency or local public body, and disclosure is required by law;

5) Personal Information is disclosed to the contractor of the Shop in order to provide the service requested by the User; or

6) The Shop’s business succeeded due to a merger or other reasons.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

In an event that the User requests the disclosure of his/her Personal Information, the Shop will promptly respond to the request after confirming the User's identity. However, this does not apply to cases where disclosure would result in any of the following case. In the event that we decide not to disclose the information, we will notify you of the decision promptly.

1) If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party

2) If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of our company's business

3) If it would violate any other laws or regulations

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will not, in principle, disclose any information other than Personal Information, such as purchase history and characteristic information.

6. Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

In an event that the Shop receives a request from the User as described in the preceding section and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Shop will correct or delete the Personal Information in question. The Shop will notify the requesting User of any correction/deletion or decision not to make such correction/deletion.

7. Safety Measures for Personal Information

We take all possible measures to ensure the security of Personal Information in order to keep it accurate and up-to-date, and to prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, falsification, or leakage of Personal Information.

8. Compliance and Review of Laws and Regulations

The Shop complies with laws and regulations of Japan regarding Personal Information, and reviews and improves this Policy as necessary. Any changes to this Policy shall be effective by posting the changes on this website.

9. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

The Shop may use cookies and other similar technologies to understand the usage of the Shop's services and to improve the Shop's services.
